โšพ๐Ÿ… Cannon Ballers GM Holds Olympic-Themed Fundraiser

 |

Matt Millward, the GM of the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers, is heading to Paris to cheer on Team USA in the Olympics while raising funds for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.

Last year, the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers were awarded the 2023 Best Community Promotion or Event award at the MLB MiLB Fall Meetings in Las Vegas, for their Starry Night promotion event. Millward came up with the idea while attending a different event and it has become a significant date on the Cannon Ballers calendar for the past several years.

Through that event, in collaboration with the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, the Cannon Ballers have been able to raise over $90,000 in support of pediatric brain tumor research.

And this year, Matt wants to raise even more, so he is not only attending the Olympics in Paris, but he is also using the USAโ€™s Gold Medal count to raise funds to support the Foundation.

How Does It Work?

You can pledge a single amount, say $1 for every gold medal the USA wins, and then that amount is your donation to the Foundation. For instance, if the USA wins 30 gold medals and you pledged $1 per medal, your donation would be $30.

Visit Mattโ€™s Fundraising Page for all the details or to make your pledge.
