Downtown Concord Shop Small Event

On May 4th, downtown Concord is hosting a special Shop Small event filled with flowers and fun. Take a leisurely stroll through Concord’s charming downtown area, visit local shops and restaurants, and explore the pop-up market at Shop Local at The Lenz from 11 am to 3 pm. With a wide variety of small businesses and vendors, you’re sure to find the perfect gift for Mom. Plus, with every purchase you make, you’ll receive a fresh flower, allowing you to create a small bouquet for Mom right on the spot!

As an added bonus, the first 15 visitors who make a purchase at six of the participating businesses will receive a decorative glass vase, extra greenery, a flower pick, and Downtown Dollars. Basilico’s Mother’s Day Brunch

If you’re looking for a delicious meal to celebrate Mom, look no further than Basilico’s Mother’s Day Brunch on May 12th. Basilico’s is hosting a special brunch from 10 am to 11:30 am, with lunch seating beginning at 12:30 pm. With extra lasagna on hand, there’s plenty of mouthwatering options to enjoy with the whole family. Be sure to make your reservations early, as Mother’s Day at Basilico’s fills up fast!

High Tea in Kannapolis

For a more traditional Mother’s Day experience, don’t miss the 2nd Annual High Tea at Boujee Babies in Kannapolis on May 11th. This elegant event is perfect for mothers, grandmothers, daughters, sisters, and friends alike. Enjoy a traditional High Tea service featuring sweets and savories, paired with an excellent variety of delectable teas from The Spice & Tea Exchange. The service begins at 11:30 am and lasts approximately an hour and fifteen minutes. Reservations are required, so be sure to secure your spot early HERE.
