🇺🇸 🎆 Early Independence Celebration on June 24th

The Town of Mount Pleasant is kicking off Cabarrus County’s Independence Day celebrations on Saturday, June 24th, 2023, 5-10:30pm at Town Hall Park. The festivities will feature a parade, live music, delicious food vendors, and a dedication ceremony for the newly opened McAllister Park. The night will culminate with a dazzling fireworks display, creating a memorable experience for attendees of all ages.

🚒 5pm: Parade starting at North Washington St

The celebration will commence with a spirited parade featuring local businesses, organizations, and enthusiastic community members proudly marching through town.

🎶 6pm: DJ Eric Bowman

Following the parade, the celebration continues behind Town Hall, with local DJ Eric Bowman taking the stage at 6pm.

  • Renowned for his exceptional skills, Bowman has curated an impressive playlist with beats that will get the party started and the crowd moving.

🍔 “A Taste of Mount Pleasant” Food Vendors

As the music fills the air, “A Taste of Mount Pleasant” will showcase the area’s best food vendors and their culinary delights. From mouthwatering savory snacks to indulgent sweet treats, there will be something everyone to enjoy.

🎤 7pm: Too Much Sylvia

Too Much Sylvia, known for their eclectic blend of rock, pop, and beach music, take the stage at 7pm. The band’s high-energy performance and catchy tunes will keep the audience entertained and engaged throughout the night.

📜 McAllister Park Dedication

During Too Much Sylvia’s intermission, town officials will dedicate the newly opened McAllister Park, a beautiful green space boasting scenic walking trails, inviting picnic areas, and playgrounds.

🎆 10pm: Fireworks

As darkness falls, spectators are invited to stay for a breathtaking fireworks extravaganza at 10pm. The vibrant explosions and mesmerizing patterns will create a magical experience for viewers of all ages, reminding us of all of the beauty and freedom our nation represents.
