Lovely Lines, a women’s clothing store specializing in curvy styles with sizes Large to 3X, was born out of the belief that every woman deserves to feel good when she goes shopping.

Frustrated with the limited options available for curvy women, best friends Jessica and Erica envisioned a store where women who became stressed out and didn’t enjoy shopping due to limited options could find fashionable attire and enjoy their shopping experience. From their conversation, Lovely Lines was born!

The shop started as an online store in 2017 before quickly growing into a brick-and-mortar location the following year in Kannapolis. The shop’s name, Lovely Lines, was inspired by the beauty that is every woman’s body shape.

  • “Every woman should embrace the curves of their body,” said Erica. “Every woman deserves to feel beautiful, confident, and empowered, regardless of her size or shape.”

They offer a wide range of clothing styles, including dresses, tops, pants, skirts, and jackets, all designed to flatter and enhance the curves of the modern woman.

Their dedication and unique approach led them to win Concord’s “Next Great Pop Up” contest in 2019, which provided them with the opportunity to open a temporary location at Carolina Mall. In 2020, Lovely Lines moved to the heart of downtown Kannapolis and this year they’re settling into their permanent home inside the Shops on West Ave at 133A West Ave. The store has been thriving, thanks to the vision and hard work of Jessica and Erica.

  • “First off AMAZING owners, from the first time I shopped they made me feel right at home, like I have lifelong friends. Their clothes are beautiful and well-priced. I’ve been very happy with everything I’ve bought. These ladies build your confidence and your wardrobe.” Erica Ritch

Irrespective of age or body shape, Lovely Lines embraces the belief that every woman deserves to discover her perfect style. Their vast selection of clothing options and accessories caters to diverse tastes, ensuring that every customer finds something that resonates with her unique fashion sensibilities. At Lovely Lines, the ultimate goal is to leave every shopper feeling self-assured and completely content.

  • “Boy am I glad Lovely Lines is in the Kannapolis area. Sometimes it can be difficult as a plus sized person to find clothes that are cute and fashionable and also fit correctly with your curves. Lovely Lines is the place to go! The co-owners are total angels too. They are the sweetest people. Highly recommend!!” Kayla Gragg

Additionally, they offer a seamless integration of online and in-store shopping, granting customers the convenience and flexibility to shop from the comfort of their own homes, with the option to conveniently pick up their purchases in-store.

  • This harmonious blend of digital and physical retail experience is designed to meet the needs and preferences of their valued clientele.

They also carry a variety of accessories, including jewelry, handbags, scarves, and hats, to complete any outfit. Jessica and Erica believe in the power of collaboration and supporting other small businesses. They have partnered with several local businesses, sourcing their jewelry and accessories from Carolina Clay Creations and The Little White Willow and selling adorable dog bandanas and accessories from Greatly Blessed Creations. By partnering with local suppliers, Lovely Lines not only provides unique and high-quality products but also contributes to the growth and prosperity of the local economy.

Lovely Lines knows how to make shopping an unforgettable experience. Throughout the year, they offer a variety of events and promotions to engage with their customers and create a sense of excitement. Events like the Mimosa Crawl and the Adult Easter Egg Hunt add a touch of playfulness and bring together the community in celebration of fashion and fun.
