Free Focus Photography Workshops

Embark on a visual journey with Focus Workshops, supported by a grant from the Grassroots Arts Program of the North Carolina Arts Council, and the Cabarrus Arts Council. The workshop is also supported by the NC Music Hall of Fame. This immersive workshop is designed for photography enthusiasts eager to unravel the magic behind the lens and capture the world through their own unique perspective. This is for all ages 15 and up. If you just purchased a camera or are interested in photography but do not own a camera this is the workshop for you. There are 4 workshops sessions starting in February and running through May 2024. Please pick only one session to sign up. Classes will be limited to 15 participants so if you see one of the dates are full please choose another date or reach out to us to see if we fit you into that class. The workshop will be about 4 hours. This beginner-friendly course covers camera basics, composition techniques, and essential lighting principles. Through hands-on practice and guided sessions, participants will gain confidence in capturing stunning images. Whether you’re a hobbyist or looking to kick-start your photography journey, this workshop provides a solid foundation for creative expression through the lens.
