Let’s Get Moving Event & 5K

Come join us on Saturday, September 23 at Vietnam Veterans Park in Concord, NC for this great inclusive event for people of ALL ABILITIES! Let’s Get Moving for a great event and get all bodies in motion. Proceeds support the work of KennedyStrong Foundation.
Register by Friday, September 8th to be guaranteed a shirt. All supplies after this date are first come first serve.
Race Day Registration is cashless only!
Race Day Packet Pickup opens at 8:00am
Join us from 8a.m. to noon. There will be a DJ and activities for all.
8:00 a.m. – event site opens
9:00 a.m. – Buddy Run starts
9:30 a.m. – 5K starts
9:30 – 10:30 a.m. – Decathlon Activity Adventure course open as an alternative to the run/walk events
Virtual 5K for those who cannot attend in person but want to participate where they are
There will be 5k awards given to overall top 3 male and female and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group: 10 & under, 11-15, 15-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61 -70, and 71 and up. Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in the Decathlon and Fun Run.
5k runners and Decathlon participants will receive a bag, shirt, and giveaway items.
Virtual Runners will not be eligible for awards.
Packet Pick Up: Thursday, September 21st at the West Cabarrus YMCA in Afton Village from 6pm to 8pm. See Packet Pick Up section below.
