There will be 20 different local vendors and live music from A TRIO of the Province of Thieves Band. Children can play in their very own KIDZONE with bounce houses, face painting, popcorn, and movie characters in costume.

Who is Behind this Event?

Michael Anderson with Anderson Uniform Co. created the first event on his own and the company has a long history in the Harrisburg community. It was established in 1978 by Norwood Anderson in his own house in Harrisburg and has been operating locally ever since, growing into one of the largest uniform suppliers in North Carolina. They specialize in transportation, utility, and industrial companies with large work forces that wear uniforms out in the field.

  • Anderson started this fundraiser to benefit Jeff Gordon Children’s Hospital in 2018 and it has continued to grow each year that they’ve been able to host it. Last year, attendance at the event topped 1,000 people!

Mother and daughter team, Anna and Lisa Howell started helping out with the event on a small scale several years ago but realized that in order for the event to continue to be a success, Michael needed a team. They have jumped in with both feet this year to help grow the event and they are super excited about what’s happening.

They have been making announcements on Facebook about vendors that attendees will get to experience including BANG Energy Drink which will have a jeep and tent this year, as well as RideNow Powersports which will have vehicles available at the event.

  • “The event proved to be much more than I expected. It was well organized, well run and a fun place to be. Our judges had a ball. There were many vendors selling wares of all kinds, delicious food/beverages and continuous music for the adults. Children were treated to appearances by Disney princesses, face painting, Super Heroes, games and food for kids. This event also had some FREE BBQ & BEER samples. WOW!” ~ NCBS Pig Tales® May 2019

Tickets can be purchased ahead of time online or in person the day of the event. You can also purchase T-shirts, hats, koozies, and other merchandise. Raffle tickets will also be available for purchase with prizes including a YETI cooler and a signed Denny Hamlin diecast race car.

Be sure to follow their Facebook page for more announcements! The event will take place at the corner of Physicians Blvd. and Professional Blvd. at 4351 Physicians Blvd., Harrisburg, NC 28075 [Google Map].
