On March 29, 2025, the community is invited to a special ceremony honoring Vietnam War veterans on National Vietnam War Veterans Day. Hosted by the Daughters of the American Revolution Cabarrus Black Boys Chapter, Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 909, and Cabarrus Veterans Coalition, this event will recognize the service and sacrifice of those who served during the Vietnam War. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War, making this commemoration especially significant.
