Concord 101 and Kannapolis 101 are unique educational opportunities for citizens to learn more about the behind-the-scenes workings of local government. Matt Millward, the GM of the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers, is heading to Paris to cheer on Team USA in the Olympics while raising funds for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. Last year, the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers were awarded the 2023 Best Community Promotion or Event award at the MLB MiLB Fall Meetings in Las Vegas, for their Starry Night promotion event.
