Motherhood is a journey filled with love, joy, and challenges. For many women, the transition into parenthood can be overwhelming, especially without proper support systems in place.

  • Recognizing this need, Mint to Be of the Carolinas was created to offer hope and assistance for mothers facing various hurdles in their journey.

Founded in January 2020 by Sharee Allen, Mint to Be is more than just an organization; it’s a lifeline for mothers navigating the complexities of parenthood.

πŸ’– Mint To Be’s Foundation and Purpose

The idea for Mint to Be came to Sharee during her time in Okinawa, Japan. Surrounded by women grappling with postpartum depression and feelings of worthlessness, Sharee felt a calling to make a difference.

However, it wasn’t until she relocated to the United States in 2018, and experienced her own struggles with postpartum depression, that she knew it was time to form Mint to Be.

Little did she know that amidst the challenges of launching during a pandemic, Mint to Be would emerge as a vital lifeline for hundreds of mothers in need.
