Shuckin’ for a Cause 2024, presented by Barcos Sports & Seafood and High Branch Brewing Co. promises to be an event to remember.

📅 March 24th from 1pm until 5pm
📍Barcos Sports & Seafood in collaboration with High Branch Brewing Co | Gibson Mill Market, 305 McGill Ave NW Bldg. 200, Concord, NC 28027

This event is not just about enjoying delicious oysters and special High Branch beer; it’s about coming together to support a great cause, 1CAN.

Barcos Sports & Seafood will be serving up their (soon-to-be-famous) Seafood Chowder and mouthwatering Roasted Oysters. Paired with High Branch Brewing’s special selection of Beer Releases, attendees are in for a treat. In addition to enjoying oysters and the special release beer, attendees can listen to the live music of Nate Randal from 2-5pm.

Shuckin’ for a Cause is not just about good food and good times; it’s also an opportunity to give back. The event is proud to partner with 1CAN (your1can.org), a charitable organization dedicated to supporting those in need.

While walk-ups are welcome, pre-booking online is encouraged to assist with planning. Choose from three options to participate:

  • Donate food items to 1CAN. Bring along one or two of the following items: 1lb bags of rice, peanut butter, boxes of cereal, cans of soup, or canned black beans. Your contribution not only enters you for a chance to win a prize valued at $100 but also makes a meaningful difference in supporting 1CAN’s mission.
  • Make a $5 donation (with the option for an additional food donation).
  • Attend without a donation.
